Uptime is proud to announce that we are now an official Reseller of Bundle Commander. Bundle Commander is a great add-on to ZENworks Configuration Management (ZCM), providing a new method of creating Windows Bundles in a simple and intuitive way.

Creating Windows Bundles – including finding and deploying installation parameters for software which needs to be deployed – is one of the most time-consuming and troublesome tasks that administrators must undertake to deploy Windows applications. Bundle Commander lowers the cost associated with application management by automating the manual steps that have to be repeated for every new application.

Roel van Bueren, Product Development Leader of Rovabu Software BV, stated, “We welcome Uptime as a partner for Bundle Commander. Their strategic partnership with Novell, ENGL and their focus on Novell ZENworks Configuration Management makes them an outstanding partner to work with. Their 'Application Bundling' service and their high quality ZENworks Configuration Management training perfectly fit into our model to add exclusive value to ZENworks Configuration Management customers.”

Two editions of Bundle Commander are available: Standard and Professional. The Standard edition is free, so you are able to experience this great product and the time-saving benefits it offers with absolutely no investment or risk by going to www.bundlecommander.com. The Professional edition is licensed per ZCM zone, per registered ZCM device. A license is subscription-based, and is granted for a duration of one year. For more information, go to visit Uptime's Bundle Commander Product Page.

Donna Moyer, Principal at Uptime, affirmed, “Uptime has tested Bundle Commander in our lab on Firefox, Adobe Reader, and Java. We found the interface very easy to use, as it presents bundles in a Windows Explorer view. This means that techs don't need to access the ZCC to create and modify bundles. This software is definitely all that has been promised.”
